2nd vid is weak…. “she used the word ‘blessed’…. compare that to her husbands speach in 2000 and you will see that he also used the word ‘blessed'”

Yeah, but the point is that the Clinton campaign made a bad move by aggressively pursuing the claim that Obama had plagiarized. (See my post entitled “Obama Speech Aftermath” from the 19th if you missed it.) Even worse was the fact that Clinton continued to harp on it, with the famous “change you can xerox” line.

What really marks this as being a poor political move is that the Clinton campaign went on to construct its own rousing oration from a pair of borrowed arguments. You can’t expect the Obama campaign to sit on this one.

I know this whole election game has little bearing on who would actually govern more capably, but it’s a political blunder all the same by the Clinton campaign.

The biggest problem with all of this is that Clinton is making it increasingly unlikely that they can run together. Look at today’s political developments: http://thepage.time.com/2008/02/23/shame-on-you-barack-obama/
